My Secret Beach Escapes in Phuket (Shhh, Don’t Tell Everyone!)

Ive lived in Phuket long enough to know which beaches are overrun by tourists and which ones feel like your own private paradise. Here are 3 secret beaches I personally love peaceful, clean, and perfect for a quiet day.

Ao Sane Beach

  • Location: Near The Nai Harn Hotel, at the end of the small road past Nai Harn Beach
  • Opening hours: 24/7 (best to visit before 5 PM)

This is one of the most untouched beaches in Phuket. Youll need to drive past The Nai Harn hotel and down a narrow road but once you arrive, the calm water and shady trees make it worth it. Great for snorkeling!

Ya Nui Beach

  • Location: Between Nai Harn Beach and Promthep Cape
  • Opening hours: 24/7

Ya Nui is a small, cozy cove with crystal-clear water and soft sand. I often rent a kayak here to paddle around the nearby island. Its also great for snorkeling near the rocks. There are a few beach vendors with drinks and snacks.

Ao Yon Beach

  • Location: Near Cape Panwa
  • Opening hours: 24/7

This one is a gem. Fewer tourists, mostly locals. Theres shade, calm water, and some local restaurants like Ao Yon Seaside Restaurant right on the beach. If you want to nap under palm trees with a gentle sea breeze this is your spot.
