My Chill Walk Through Phuket Old Town: Food, Art, and Color

Last weekend, I spent a slow Sunday morning exploring Phuket Old Town again and it reminded me why I love this place. The mix of culture, food, and old buildings gives it a vibe you cant find on the beach.

Thalang Road

• Location: Thalang Road, Phuket Town
  
• Shops usually open around 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
  
• Sunday Walking Street Market: 4:00 PM 10:00 PM

Colorful houses, street art, and cozy cafés. I grabbed an iced Thai tea at The Tent café and sat people-watching. On Sundays, the walking street market here is lively with food stalls, souvenirs, and local music.

Soi Romanee

• Location: Just off Thalang Road
  
• 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (cafés & shops)

Once Phukets red-light district, this now-romantic alley is one of the most Instagrammable spots in town. Perfect for photos  I recommend coming before noon for the best light.

Chinpracha House

• Location: 98 Krabi Road
  
• Open daily 9:00 AM 4:30 PM
  
• Entry: 150 THB

I took a short tour of this preserved mansion with antique furniture and vintage photos. Its small but charming, and worth a quick stop to understand Phukets history.
